Notes Septal pore ultrastructure of Wallemia sebi according to Terracina (1974), Can J. Bot 52: 2587-2590: Thick lamellate biconvex nonmembranous pore occlusion; electron-dense band within pore; folded endoplasmic reticulum associated with pore. Moore(1986) interprets the endoplasmic reticulum as a septal pore cap with saccules. This data is now replaced by AFTOL data (Padamsee et al., 2012, Fungal Genetics and Biology 49: 21-226.
